   1 Ceilings on the Percentage and Amount of the Publicly Offered and Issued Value of a REIT Fund That May Be Invested in Securities Defined in Article 6 of the Securities and Exchange Act

Promulgated on 19 September 2003 per Order Ref. Tai-Tsai-Rong-(IV)-0924000779

1. The percentage and amount invested by a real estate investment trust (REIT) fund in securities as defined in Article 6 of the Securities and Exchange Act may not exceed 40 percent of the publicly offered and issued value of the fund or NT$600 million; however, these restrictions do not apply to investments set out in Article 17, paragraph 1, subparagraph 3, of the Real Estate Securitization Act.
