   1 Interpretation of Provisions Under Which a Trust Enterprise Conducting Stock Trust Operations is Deemed to Have Given Notice to an Issuer

1.When conducting stock trust operations, a trust enterprise is deemed as having satisfied the "notice to the issuer" requirement under Article 20, paragraph 3, of the Trust Enterprise Act if it has followed the transfer to trust procedures pursuant to the Regulations Governing Handling of Stock Affairs by Public Companies or the Regulations Governing Registration of Stock Trust by Non-Public Companies.
2.When conducting stock trust operations, a trust enterprise is deemed as having satisfied the "notice to the issuer" requirement under Article 20, paragraph 3, of the Trust Enterprise Act if it has satisfied the requirements of Articles 31 and 32 of the Regulations Governing Book-Entry Operations for Centrally Deposited Securities by, as a participant thereunder, submitting information relating to the registration of the securities trust to a centralized securities depository enterprise and having the latter give notice to the issuer of the stock.
